DESCRIPTION:The Russian Educational Research Association (RERA) is delighted  to invite WERA colleagues to participate in the XVII International Conference on Higher Education (ICHE)\, which will take place on October 28–30\, 2026 at HSE University in Moscow. \n \nThis year’s theme — “The (Non-)Homogeneous Landscape of Higher Education: Institutions\, Trajectories\, Effects” — focuses on the growing diversity of higher education systems worldwide and its implications for inequality\, institutional development\, and student trajectories. \n \nThe Conference aims to bring together scholars and practitioners to discuss key questions such as: \n \n 	how institutional diversity shapes access and equity\,\n \n 	how higher education systems respond to changing labour markets\,\n \n 	how student and academic trajectories are evolving\,\n \n 	and how universities redefine their missions in an increasingly differentiated landscape.\n \nKey topics include: \n \n 	Economics and stratification of higher education\n \n 	Labour market outcomes and heterogeneity of effects\n \n 	Academic careers and institutional diversity\n \n 	Student well-being and educational trajectories\n \n 	Big data and analytics in higher education research\n \n 	And other topics within higher education research (including an open track)\n \nThe call for abstracts is open until May 10\, 2026. \n \nMore information and submission details can be found here: https://educonf.hse.ru/en/2026/ \n \nIf you have any questions\, please feel free to contact the Programme Committee at rhec@hse.ru. \n \nSee you in Moscow this autumn for what promises to be an engaging and inspiring exchange.
