EASA Conference 2025: Learning on the Rising Tides

The Education Association of South Africa (EASA) is thrilled to announce that its 2025 conference will be hosted by the Faculty of Education, University of Pretoria. This landmark event will take place at the Sun City Resort in Rustenburg, South Africa, from January 19 to 22, 2025, under the theme:

Inspiring Keynote Speakers

The conference will feature two renowned keynote speakers:

  • Prof. Liesel Ebersöhn, a full professor in the Department of Educational Psychology and Director of the Centre for the Study of Resilience at the University of Pretoria.
  • Prof. Crain Soudien, an emeritus professor in Education and African Studies at the University of Cape Town, the former Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Town, and the former Chief Executive Officer of the Human Sciences Research Council.
