On behalf of the WERA International Research Network (IRN) ‘Exploring Global Curricular Representations and Teachers’ Enactment of Ancient and Indigenous Cultures and Wisdom Traditions’, we are thrilled to share this webinar entitled ‘The Path to Successful Research Publication: An Interactive Webinar for Emerging Scholars’ by Professor Dr. tavis d. jules.
Led by a globally renowned comparative and international education scholar, this free and highly interactive 90-minute workshop seeks to support graduate students and junior/emerging scholars in navigating the difficult research publication process by introducing them to practical strategies for successful publication in high-quality peer-reviewed journals.
Participants will learn how to craft compelling abstracts and prepare comprehensive writing plans. We will also cover common challenges such as authorship collaborations, meeting publication timelines, handling negative reviewer feedback, and managing delays in the publication process. The workshop combines presentations, discussions, case studies, and practical exercises to give participants hands-on experiences. Participants are encouraged to bring drafts of their research papers for individualized feedback. By the end of the workshop, participants will be better equipped to prepare and submit research manuscripts that meet the standards of academic journals and enhance their research impact within the global scholarly community.
