[IRN] Webinar: Building Inclusive Social Imaginaries in VET

What do VET practitioners think about Inclusive Excellence? Which paradigm shift is happening in our VET ecosystems?

The WERA International Research Network IE-B-SW – Inclusive Excellence and Bienvivance from School to Work will focus on these questions in their next webinar. The webinar will explore the Inclusive Excellence experience for the Finnish VET system.

Hosted by Häme University of Applied Sciences, HAMK, the next webinar’s theme “Building Inclusive Social Imaginaries in VET” will feature the speakers Sanna Ryökkynen, Principal Research Scientist of HMAK, Essi Ryymin, Principal Research Scientist of HMAK and Veronica Vasilescu, Manager at ENGIM.

The webinar, done in collaboration with InnerDevelopmentGoals, under the aegis of the World Education Research Association and EFVET European Forum of Vocational Education and Karanga, will focus on inclusivity, wellbeing & bienvivance. It will present the key findings of the speakers’ recent study exploring how representatives of Finnish Vocational Education and Training describe inclusive excellence and inclusion. Drawing on their perspectives, we will be guided to examine the role and value of collective and social imaginaries in current inclusion debates.
