[WERA-ANPED] WERA Focal Meeting 2025 & 42nd ANPEd National Meeting

The event is organized by the World Education Research Association (WERA) and takes place in conjunction with ANPEd’s the 42nd ANPEd National Meeting Meeting at the Education Centre of the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), in João Pessoa, Paraíba.

WERA is an international association that brings together the main national and regional research associations in the field of education, including ANPEd. Founded in 2009, WERA will celebrate its 15th anniversary at the Focal Meeting in João Pessoa.

The WERA Focal Meeting is an annual event, held as part of the conference of a WERA member association. In 2025, the partner association will be ANPEd.

In addition to being a space for debate on current and emerging issues in education research, the the WERA Focal Meeting 2025 is a unique opportunity for international exchange and networking between researchers, teachers and postgraduate students in the field of education, in one of the most beautiful and welcoming capital cities in the Brazilian Northeast.

 

In keeping with the traditions of the northeast of Brazil and Paraíba in particular, the visual identity of the 42nd ANPEd National Meeting & Wera Focal Meeting 2025 pays homage to the women of Paraíba, portrayed in the paintings of the artist Davi Queiroz.
