
On behalf of the WERA International Research Network ‘Education in the Anthropocene’ and Convener Nathanaël Wallenhorst, we are pleased to invite the WERA community to the network’s kickoff and their next meetings.
The aim of this IRN will be to establish ‘Education in the Anthropocene’ as a sub-field of the educational sciences. The working group currently consists of 28 researchers from 11 countries and remains open to participation from other colleagues. The structure will be straightforward: the group will convene online four times a year for two-hour sessions. Each time, a leader will be responsible for leading the 2 hours of work, with the goal of producing co-authored papers or conference presentations by all those who wish to do so.
