On behalf of the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA), we are pleased to share that the first-ever longitudinal extension of TIMSS, TIMSS 2023 Longitudinal, will see the launch of its international report and results on 9 December 2025.
TIMSS 2023 Longitudinal followed the same sample of students from 2023 to 2024, in 9 participating education systems. TIMSS has shown where students are in their learning and now, for the first time with TIMSS Longitudinal, we can see how much they learn, tracking their growth directly.
We would like to invite you to register for the livestreamed launch, which will take place at 10:00am Central European Time on 9 December 2025.
This livestreamed event will share key findings from the TIMSS 2023 Longitudinal Study and provide insights into how student progress over one academic year can support more effective policy and classroom practices. It will include presentations, reflections from participating education systems, and opportunities to engage and ask questions about the presented findings.
