On behalf of the WERA International Research Network (IRN) ‘Student Voice for Promoting Equity and Inclusion in Schools’, we are thrilled to share a new white paper from the Stanford Accelerator for Learning: AI + Learning Differences: Designing a Future with No Boundaries. This work brings together voices from education, tech, disability advocacy, and youth to chart an inclusive path forward for AI in education.
With 12 actionable recommendations and a companion Hackathon Toolkit, this paper is a resource for anyone working at the intersection of innovation and inclusion.
The symposium and hackathon were made possible through the generosity of the Alana Foundation and in collaboration with CAST, the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI), and the Children’s Health Council (CHC).📥 Read & share: https://acceleratelearning.stanford.edu/story/what-does-ai-mean-for-learners-with-disabilities/
