The IDG-GLOBAL-WERA IRN Bienvivance & Inclusive Excellence Webinar Series will host a webinar on March 26, 2025, from 4 PM to 5 PM (Brussels time) entitled ‘From Inclusion to Inclusiveness and Inclusivity: Towards Inclusive Excellence’, led by Pr. Bénédicte Gendron, Dr. Paolo Nardi, and Pr. Michael Nettles.
Gandhi used to say, ‘Be the change you want to see in the world’. Moving from an overview of the concepts of inclusion (to allow equity filling the gap or special needs), inclusivity (the active state of being inclusive), and inclusiveness (the resulting environment after practicing or implementing inclusivity), the webinar will delve into the emerging approach of Inclusive Excellence as a paradigm shift for Vocational Education and Training (VET). The theoretical and practical takeaways emerging from Gendron’s research and Nardi’s analysis on the GIVE project will be the focus of the presentation and trigger for the debate with those who are active in these areas.
